Confirm the new lease, access contacts, move budget, and whether furniture or IT needs disposal.
6 weeks out
Request COI rules and freight-elevator windows from both buildings. Order internet and review the furniture plan.
4 weeks out
Finalize inventory, packing scope, floor plans, insurance requirements, and employee communication.
3 weeks out
Reserve elevators and loading zones. Confirm the mover walkthrough and schedule IT disconnects.
2 weeks out
Label workstations, back up devices, confirm the cutover sequence, and circulate the move-day command sheet.
1 week out
Reconfirm certificates, keys, parking, elevator reservations, disposal, and first-night essentials.
Move day
Assign one owner to the old site and one to the new site. IT signs off before the crew leaves.
After the move
Confirm working desks, collect damage or missing-item notes, and close the old space broom-clean.
